They have consistently been ranked in the top 5 counties in the state of Maryland for years, with MSA (Maryland School Acheivement) scores that surpass the state average. FCPS students’ College entrance exam scores are higher than state and national averages; dropout rates are among the lowest and graduation rates are among the highest in the state.
