Historic Covered Bridges of Frederick County
The Walking Bridge at Baker Park is the scene of many photo shoots. The bridge spans Carroll Creek at the west end of the linear park.
In and around Thurmont Maryland there are 3 historic covered bridges:
1. Utica Park Covered Bridge, the longest at 101 feet, it spans Fishing Creek.

2. Roddy Creek Bridge, the shortest of the Historic Covered Bridges at just under 40 feet. It spans Owens Creek at Roddy Road and Roddy Creek Road in Thurmont.
3. Loy’s Station Covered Bridge

Loys Station Covered Bridge is 89′ 5″ long, spanning Owen’s Creek, outside of Thurmont.
All three historic covered bridges were added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 23, 1978.
